Mid-Week Round-Up

Welcome to MoneyGrubbingLawyer. If this is your first time here, you may want to get started by learning a little bit more about me and about this site. If you like what you see, you can subscribe to receive updates by email or in a reader. Thanks for visiting!

In my Wednesday tradition, here are a few of the posts that have grabbed my attention so far this week. Take a look at these posts and join in the discussions:

Clever Dude wants to know whether he should pay a traffic ticket or fight it. You already know what my advice is!

Get Rich Slowly has sparked a lively discussion about  the inner workings of car dealerships

Frugal Trader at Million Dollar Journey addresses an interesting question- does it make sense to withdraw RRSP savings to pay off credit card debt.

I’m always a fan of crazy business ideas. Mr. Cheap at Quest for Four Pillars proposes an interesting one- stockpiling garbage. I already do this in my basement.

And in what has been perhaps the most livley and polarized debate I’ve seen this week, Free Money Finance asks if it’s ethical to sneak food and drinks into a movie theatre.

Thanks for the link. I laughed out loud when I read that you’re already doing this in your basement. You’re the man!

What exactly do you mean by “I’m always a fan of crazy business ideas”. I myself have an idea. The only crazy part is actually committing to it.
